Macfixit Australia offers shipping to delivery addresses in Australia only.

Stock Availability and Delays

If an item is in stock at our Brisbane warehouse and available to ship, it will be listed on the item page as 'In Stock at Macfixit: Yes' and 'Shipped within 24 hours'. (see below) If you place an order for such an item, it will be reserved for your order. If there are no backordered items on the same order, it will be shipped out to you by the next business day:

If we do not have enough stock of an item available in our warehouse to ship your order straight away, a warning will appear beneath that item in your cart at the beginning of checkout (see below). This warning will provide an estimate as to the length of the delay:

If an item is in stock with our supplier, but not at our Macfixit warehouse in Brisbane, it will be listed on the item page as 'In stock at supplier: Yes' and an estimate as to the delay before we will receive stock to ship to you will be provided (see below). We try to keep these estimates as accurate as possible, but will let you know ASAP if there is a change in the delay for an item you have ordered. All items on an order are shipped together, so the item with the longest delay will likely set the final shipping date for your order:

Shipping Charges to Australian Addresses

All orders are shipped using Australia Post. A calculated rate from approximately $11 shipping applies to all orders shipped within Australia. The rate will be calculated in checkout or the cartWe reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for large and commercial orders. Express delivery will incur additional charges, depending on the total weight of the order.

Cut off time for same day shipping

All orders made before 12PM will ship same day (Monday - Friday only). We regret that we are unable to ship same day if the order was made after the cut off time. 

Shipping Method

Australia Post eParcel is a door to door service. We can deliver to residential addresses, business addresses and PO boxes. When shipping to a business address please ensure that you specify the business name together with a contact name at the destination. All orders must be signed for on delivery. If no one is available at the address when delivery takes place a postal card will be left and the parcel can be collected from the nearest post office.

Delivery

Shipping Timeframe in Australia

Macfixit Australia warehouse operates from one location: Hendra, Brisbane, Queensland. Most orders are processed and dispatched within 1 business day of the order being placed. Orders containing items on backorder or out of stock may take longer to leave our warehouse. We will let you know via email if there are any further shipping delays or changes to our stock levels after the time at which your order is placed. 

Orders usually take  2-7 business days for delivery, however orders to remote areas may take longer.
Express shipping orders take between 1-2 business days for delivery in metropolitan areas. Same day shipping applies for orders made before 12PM. If an order is made after 12PM it will be shipped the following business day. We regret that we're unable to ship on Weekend days. 

For regular orders being shipped to addresses in  QueenslandVictoria, Tasmania, New South Wales - delivery to metropolitan area addresses will be approximately 2-4 business days.

For Orders shipped to addresses in South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory will normally be sent from our warehouse in QLD and delivery to metropolitan area addresses will be approximately 4-8 business days.

If there are multiple items on your order it may be shipped from one warehouse (as a complete order), or from our supplier location (to be received in multiple deliveries). You will be advised of the despatch location by email when your order is shipped.

Backorders

If you are ordering a product that is not in stock, the general order shipping time frame varies from 1-5 weeks. Please see the shipping information on the product page for more specific shipping times. All items on an order are shipped together, so a backordered item can delay the shipping of other in-stock items on the same order – we will reserve the on-hand items for you, and ship everything together once everything is available. If you would like us to split your order into multiple shipments, we will arrange payment of the extra shipping fee and have the on-hand items shipped out in advance.

International Shipping Cost

Unfortunately we do not ship internationally at this time.

Customs and Duties

Prices do not include relevant overseas  customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed and this is the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your international order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Your parcel may be abandoned if you refuse to pay these charges. We will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.

Please note: marking international orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees is not possible as this is an  illegal practice and your local customs office will be able to help with further information about your country's regulations.

GST - Goods and Services Tax

10% GST currently payable in Australia.
