Luna Display - M1 and M2 Apple Silicon Support
M1 and M2 Apple Silicon Support
If you're looking for an Astropad Luna product in Australia, please find them under this link
Luna Display version 4.4 and later support the M1 and the M2 Apple Silicon chips on Mac.
For M1 /M2 Macs with Apple Silicon, there are some hardware limitations on the number of external displays allowed. Since our Luna hardware uses the same industry standards as a regular monitor, Luna counts as a Thunderbolt (USB-C) display.
For example, the M1 MacBooks Air can only support one external display at a time and the 2020 M1 Mac mini can support only one display using Thunderbolt/USB-C.
The M1 M2 Pro can support two external displays and M1 M2 Max can support three. Be sure to check Apple's device technical specifications to see what is compatible with your specific M1 or M2 Mac.
